The Austin Chapter is organizing an amazing educational and networking experience!                          

The 2017 Conference will feature...

Educational Seminars: 
Featuring discussions on Marketing, Legislative Issues, Entertainment Technology, Booking Celebrity Talent and The State of The Texas Entertainment Industry. 

Network with Industry Peers: 
Gather with entertainment agents and entertainers from across Texas. 

Entertainment Showcase:SHOWCASE APPLICATION
In the great tradition of STEP Confabs a showcase of talent has been planned to showcase acts, both new and familiar, traditional and not-so-traditional all for you to use and enrich the variety of talent you can offer your clients. See some great venues and enjoy an evening of food, fun and discovery! 

Dates:  
Sunday March 5, 2017 – The Opening GENERAL SESSION LUNCH will 
start promptly at 11:30am followed by seminars all afternoon, dinner and the 
legendary STEP Talent Showcase Event. 

Monday, March 6, 2017 – Educational sessions begin with breakfast at 9:00am We will wrap up by 3pm Monday afternoon. 

Attire:
Casual – It may be chilly during the showcase so bring a coat Sunday evening.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION    

Convention Registration 
$200 per STEP Member attendee or $350 for non-members for full event access and privileges.  

This will include admission to Sunday Brunch, all of Sunday’s sessions, the 
President’s reception, our Entertainment Showcase/Dinner/Pub Crawl, all of 
Monday’s sessions and break out snacks on both dates.  Each person is 
responsible for paying for his or her own alcoholic beverages. 

Guest Tickets 
Guests DO NOT include entertainment professionals or associates of an entertainment agency or production company.  Employees of member companies and individuals in the business of booking entertainment are required to pay full member registration. 

These tickets are for spouses, significant others, and non-entertainment-professionals that are invited guests of full registrant attendees and who
wish to attend the Sunday evening Dinner/showcase/pub crawl, they may
do so at 2 levels 

$100.00 for President’s Reception, Dinner and the Showcase, which also covers Showcase transportation fees.   
-or- 
$50.00 for the showcase only 

Again, each person is responsible for his or her own alcoholic beverage expenditures.

Dennis Gaines – Biggest Liar in Texas
A cowboy poet, humorist and storyteller, a vocation that rates with bawdy house piano player in terms of prestige and respectability. Nevertheless, having survived an epic childhood which found his parents playing hide-and-seek all over the world, and Dennis always finding them, he was allowed to matriculate to the seventh grade, after which he found himself seeking ungainful employment in the oilfields of the world and ranches of the West.

Texans for the Arts, the Texas Cultural Trust, and the Texas Commission on the Arts speak to their respective organizational programs and to the issues they are addressing during the 85th Texas Legislative Session. The panel will include how to be an effective advocate for the issues that are important for your field.​

Adrian Lucio
​Adrian Lucio is a Stand-Up Comedian currently residing in San Antonio, Texas. He currently travels all over the U.S. providing clean comedy, and a powerful message about keeping our faith, and overcoming the struggles we currently face in society today. His plan is to turn the "Comedy Industry" into a "Comedy Ministry". From being diagnosed with A.D.D, to his struggles meeting women, Adrian's act is one you don't want to miss! His clean act is Great for youth events, Colleges, and Corporate events.
